About
The Knanaya Association discussed the necessity of an official publication for Knanaya Samudayam and decided to publish a magazine. An application was submitted to the concerned Government department, permission was granted, and V. Rev. P.M. Mathew Corepiscopa Pulikavil was given charge as Chief Editor.
The first copy of Knanaya Deepam Magazine was launched on May 5th, 1989, in the Annual General meeting of Knanaya Congress at Thurithikadu. V. Rev. P.M. Mathew Corepiscopa Pulikavil was the Chief Editor until his death (1989–2002).
The first two volumes had only eighteen pages each. From the third volume the Magazine came out in normal size. During the time of Rev. Fr. C.K. Mathews Cherumadakala as Managing Editor (1989–1991), Knanaya Samudayam acquired a Treadle Press and started Knanaya Printers.
From the 8th volume, Knanaya Deepam was printed in this press. In January 2000, a Mini Offset Press was established as Clemis Press in Clemis Centre building.
Present Editorial Board: Chief Editor V. Rev. Roy Mathew Mulamoottil, Managing Editor Fr. John Mathew Moolamkulam. The present committee launched a new mobile application (Android/iOS) for the latest updates and updated the current website.
